Take time to note how your child is around dogs before giving them treats to give to the cute doggy.<\/p>\n

Caution<\/strong>:\u00a0 The\u00a0finger hold method<\/strong>\u00a0of offering a treat can be mistaken as part of the treat and nips may happen. The finger hold method also limits how a dog may take the treat \u2013 they need to use their teeth.<\/p>\n
